Initial Consultation
with Acupuncture Treatment
Consultations can be carried out face to face or via telephone. This is your opportunity to discuss your symptoms, diagnoses and concerns with your natural health practitioner. It is important to look at yourself from head to toe and from your sleeping habits to your mood. What may seem irrelevant could be helpful in regards to your treatment progress.
During this time, your treatment plan will be
discussed as typically the benefits of your
treatments will build over each visit and a
course will be required - similar to the way
antibiotics work.
All questions and concerns are answered and
discussed and for those with needle sensitivities
or nervous about your first treatment, we will
work through the treatment in a time frame
that is comfortable for you.

Follow Up Acupuncture Treatments
You will be asked for updates from your previous
treatment to see if there have been any changes
or progress between treatments.
Your needles will then be inserted into the
appropriate locations for your current symptoms
/ wellness and will remain for 20-30 minutes, or in
children under 16 or those over 70, the times will
be reduced. As you are not going through your
entire medical history this time and it is only
your updates, the appointment time is anywhere
up to 45 minutes.

Fire Cupping
**Dry Cupping does not involve the puncture of the skin but may leave marks on the skin for several days. This is a very common result and is usually a positive sign.** The suction from the cups pulls any old particles stuck in your soft tissues/muscles to the surface, so your lymphatic system to remove them for you. You may notice increased range of movement, reduced pain and inflammation, improved sleep and breathing, boosted immunity and a relaxed mood following your cupping treatment. 30-minute treatments only.

Our massage therapists offer a wide variety of massage techniques. Ranging in pressure and relaxation benefits. It is recommended to speak with your therapist and discuss which massage techniques will offer you the best results.
