Unfortunately I have been a long sufferer of Sciatica actually 13 months which has been the most painful miserable experience I’ve ever encountered. Laura is a wonderfully sweet acupuncturist. I have had diabetes for 6 years and this caused a disorder known as peripheral neuralgia. I had a course of 6 treatments. After the first treatment, the feelings returned in my feet and the pain was reduced slightly. After my second treatment, I felt like I was constantly walking on sponge, until my third treatment where it felt mostly normal and I had no pain whatsoever. Acupuncture is amazing, I used to be a huge skeptic admittedly. But now I recommend it to anyone with unresolved chronic pain. I had chronic headaches for almost a year 24/7. Went to bed with it, woke up with it and the cycle continued and pain killers wasn't helping. In the end I was put on a concoction of antidepressants for 6 months to completely lock my pain receptors, but alas, it didn't work. So I tried acupuncture after my specialist recommended it as a last ditch attempt. I felt instantly better after one session and completely gone after 6! Never to return thus far.
